2026 GCEA Scholarship Requirements

Requirements

• Completed application.

• Resume including paid and unpaid/volunteer work, professional organizations, etc.

• One-page essay on what this scholarship would benefit you in furthering your education.

• Proof of acceptance from University, College, Vocational or Trade School. A current class schedule or proof of enrollment is required prior to receiving award.

Additional Requirements

• All documentation should be sent in one email to: gcea@glendaleca.gov. Any information not received in the original email will not be considered and application will be considered incomplete. All documentation must be received no later than May 22nd, 2026.

  • A current class schedule is not required at the time of application, but if selected must be presented as soon as one is available. Funds will not be awarded until a class schedule is provided.

• Documentation must be scanned with an original signature. No photocopies of documents will be accepted.

• Date of the award presentation will be determined after verification of class schedule.

• All required information on this application must be met to have a valid application.

• FOLLOW UP EMAIL REGARDING INCORRECT OR MISSING DOCUMENTATION WILL NOT BE SENT.

To provide other qualified candidates with the opportunity to take advantage of this scholarship previous winners may not reapply.
